Christine Clemmesen

In her photographic work, the image unfolds through layering, reworking and rephotographing. Physical interventions on film surfaces, prints and frames become part of the image itself, allowing the surface to function as both site and subject. The work operates within a tension between depth and flatness, image and object, where meaning emerges through process and aesthetics.
