Born and raised in Copenhagen, Christine Clemmesen has lived in London, Glasgow, Athens, Rome and Istanbul where she has worked and studied. She developed an interest in photography from a young age, worked as a fashion photographers assistant, but it was an interest in art that took her to Glasgow School of Art at 20 years of age. She has since then worked with many renowned curators, gallerists and artists, and has very recently had a solo exhibition at Møstingshus Kunsthal in Copenhagen.
